Writing, choreography and staging. The way how in Algeria today, tenderness can overcome prejudice caused by unfavourable social (unemployment) and psychological (sexuality) situations, and in general how the violence can be faced by a non violent defence, this is the theme of the play Al Hanana ya Ouled depicted through the love story between two youngs, Hourya (Freedom) and Chafik (Compassion). The play is written and directed as a movie theater. The cinema prevalences action rather than words, a sober play, frequent changes of scenes with a rather short rhythm, and realistic lighting effects. Theater is in the fundamental importance given to the acting of interpreters, in a setting and scenography that are essential, leaving the field open to the imagination of the spectator for the creation of settings according to his fancy
